What better way to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or to give a special treat to a special person or to simply indulge in an afternoon delight yourself?

Afternoon tea was introduced in Britain in the early 1840’s. Afternoon tea started off as a mini meal used to curb people’s hunger before their evening meal which was normally served at about 8 pm.

The afternoon tea would generally comprise of delicate finger size sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, sweet pastries and cakes.

Afternoon tea can be enjoyed almost anywhere, in your own home, a delivery to an office or as a hamper packed up ready for the park.

Enjoy this British tradition with one of our afternoon delights.

Savoury items

1 1/2 rounds of finger sandwiches

Selection of homemade savouries which includes home made sausage rolls, quiche, and a wedge of home made scotch eggs.

Savouries will vary but you will always get 4 different savoury items.

Homemade sweet treats

Victoria sponge, scone with cream, jam and garnished with fresh strawberries, decorated cupcake, chocolate fudge brownie, rock cake.

This may change slightly but this is the basic menu for 1 person. All served on individual platters.
